A retirement reception is being hosted by Lyons Township High School for retiring Superintendent of Schools Dennis Kelly, who leaves in one month after serving the two-school district for the past 17 years.
The goodbye toast of sorts was scheduled for 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, in the Performing Arts Center at LT's South Campus, 4900 Willow Springs Road, Western Springs.
Kelly has dedicated 41 years of his life to education.
The event is open to the public.
