'UNDER MILK WOOD" LT'S FIRST '09/'10 PLAY

The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents “Under Milk Wood,” which portrays 24 hours in Llareggub, a small Welsh seaside town filled with many colorful and memorable characters.

Written late in Dylan Thomas’ career, he called it a play for voices.

The beautiful language is meant to be read aloud and was often produced as a radio experience.

Faculty members Ann Dudek and Marie Gillespie are the directors.

Performance dates are Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 24 to 26 in the Reber Center for the Performing Arts, 100 S. Brainard Avenue.

Tickets are $10 ($5 for children/students and senior citizens) and may be purchased in the box office before the show.

The theatre opens at 7 p.m. and the show starts promptly at 7:30 p.m. each night.
